Studio Daminato is named after its principal architect and designer Albano Daminato. With close to a decade of practice, his company has built a reputation for interiors designed with a seemingly effortless grace.

This quality of incisively knowing what is needed – and what is not – to make a space work to its potential, was a key consideration in designing the identity.
Like its founder, the mark is elegant and devoid of uneccessary embellishments save for a short thin stroke between the words. The stroke acts in two ways: as a divider, or arbiter of space; and as a joiner of spaces and ideas.
Seen on the studio’s name cards, the principal retains exclusive use of the vertical stroke: he is the decision maker.

Associates carry the version with the horizontal stroke: the linkages in his creative vision and output.
The identity is applied cleanly across the range of stationery, with particular attention to the tension of logo placement with regards to the surrounding space.
The mark is equally at home on official drafting sheets and drawing plans. In both versions the link/divider stroke in the logo is aligned precisely with the horizontal or vertical centreline of the page.
