After undertaking the 2008 Singapore campaign, our next opportunity to work with Sony Handycam was in announcing its 2009 line-up.

With the prevailing economic uncertainty, we were briefed to play up on the brand’s great success in Singapore over the years. This, we have done in a simple and emphatic manner, for ‘UNSHAKEABLE’ not only refers to the brand’s remarkable popularity, it also serves to recall Sony’s ‘SteadyShot’ image stabilizing technology.

The result is an attractive and hardworking advertisement for a mature brand in the envied position of market leader.
To support the launch of the 2009 models, we also developed a distinctive point-of-purchase display for affiliated stores and resellers.

While the design shares many elements with the advertisement, it has a different visual quality – like that of a well-packaged product.

The prominent ‘1’ is now a three dimensional window display for the new models, with attractive cutouts on the side to highlight individual features and available colours to potential buyers.
