Suzy, the iconic mascot of Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore donation stands, was a familiar sight outside supermarkets and malls: blue dress, bob haircut, sturdy shoes, and a small orange bear by her side.

As donations moved online, Suzy faded from our streets, yet I kept spotting versions of her abroad. What stayed with me most was the bear — modest and plush, resting a paw on the donation box like a quiet comfort.

In reimagining the sculpture, I asked: what if the bear took Suzy’s place? Bear With Me is my tribute to Suzy — a small gesture of care and resilience, and a reminder that everyone needs support when life gets unbearable.
