Created with Bynd Artisan and Modular Unit for SingaPlural 2017, Drawn from Our Own Device explored what happens when a human gesture is interpreted by a machine. Visitors drew on glass while a camera captured their strokes. A robotic arm translated them onto a paper jacket, which a craftsman then folded around a notebook. Code, drawing and bookbinding met in one object.
